Si la vidéosurveillance conventionnelle s'attache à la rigueur de la capture et du contrôle, le dispositif choisi ici s'en affranchit par l'aléa du givre. En obstruant l'objectif, le givre dissout la littéralité du paysage urbain pour n'en retenir que la mouvance abstraite des spectres et des formes. Cette opacité devient alors un interstice : elle ne livre plus d'information, mais invite le regard à y projeter ses propres réminiscences et sensibilités.

L'œuvre évoque la figure du marcheur urbain sous la pluie, dont les écouteurs scellent l'étanchéité entre son monde intérieur et l'altérité extérieure. La strate sonore, composée de sons sylvestres et de la distorsion d'une fermeture éclair, matérialise cette transition de la quiétude de la forêt vers la saturation de la métropole. Par ce processus de visualisation sonore, le projet explore le passage du repli intime à l'immersion dans la cité.

While conventional CCTV prioritizes the precision of surveillance and recording, the device selected for this project abandons its function through the chance intervention of frost. By obscuring the lens, the frost dissolves the literal urban landscape into an abstract choreography of colors and shapes. This opacity serves as a threshold; rather than conveying data, it offers a space for the observer to weave their own memories and perceptions into the blur.

The work reflects on the experience of a solitary figure walking through the rain, where earphones act as a barrier between their private realm and the external world. The soundscape is a layered composition of forest ambience and the manipulation of a zipper’s friction, visualizing the shift from the tranquility of nature to the congestion of the city. Through this auditory manifestation, the project explores the threshold where intimate isolation meets urban density.

À travers la marche, le son et des espaces imaginés, ils explorent des fragments de sensations liés à la déconnexion du monde extérieur.
