About the work

"Invisible City" is inspired by the title of Italo Calvino’s novel. I chose this camera because its images remain extremely blurred, whether during the day or at night; at first glance, it is almost impossible to recognize that it depicts a city. I feel that even if I were to physically arrive in this city, I might still be unable to connect it with these indistinct images. Yet, whether I am in the city or far away from it, whenever I look at these blurred visuals, I inevitably begin to imagine the city. This audio piece was produced on February 5, 2026
